Dr Christy Curtis and her staff are very professional and pleasant. The location is easy to find and access right off Folsom Blvd. Her office is clean and well laid out. I prefer Oakley frames (there are plenty to choose from) but I saw a wide selection and choices of other brands. I have to drive over 45 minutes to get to the office but I am so thankful I found her. I believe you'll be satisfied as well.

This place is 6 stars! The staff was very accommodating and communicative with me via email, and I managed to get my 3 yr old seen for a same day visit for a swollen eye. I didn't even know vision insurance covered medical visits like that to an optometrist, until today. They were also amazing with my autistic 3 yr old and did their best to do the exams. Absolutely recommend this place if you are looking for a place for your kids to get eye check ups.

I can't recommend Adventures in Vision enough! I have been a patient of Dr. Curtis for many years now, and her and her new team are definitely worth the 20 mile drive. I didn't feel rushed, everyone was very professional and nice, and Dr. Curtis herself is very knowledgeable with ALL manner of eye issues. It is obvious that she sincerely cares about your eye health, and that she wants to keep your vision as healthy as possible!

And after my exam, there was zero pressure to buy new frames or update the lens in my current frames with my new prescriptions.

Dr. Curtis is amazing! I've worn contacts and glasses for over 30 years and with the changes in corrective lenses I have always found Dr. Curtis very knowledge.

If you are looking for an eye doctor who is knowledgeable and friendly, who explains things very thoroughly, and is a wonderful listener, then Dr. Curtis is the eye doctor for you.

Not only is she amazing doctor she also has an amazing and knowledgeable staff. I was able to do my check in paperwork online and they were able to access my insurance with no problem.

My son and I recently visited her new location. We had a morning appointment and found the location was easy to find and there was plenty of parking.

Dr. Christy Curtis was my optometrist at Eye Optics Optometry, which I stopped going to after the business changed ownership and she had left. I was thrilled to discover Dr. Curtis opened her own practice in Folsom. I actually live in Sacramento, but I love the Folsom area this time of year, so the short drive to their location wasn't a problem for me.

Dr. Curtis is a consummate professional, easy going, and I just enjoy her energy. Dr. Curtis somehow makes getting your eyes examined feel like catching up with a friend, turning what could be a mundane appointment into something I actually look forward to.

I am going to schedule an appointment for my wife next since her eyes are due for some TLC as well. If you're looking for exceptional eye care with a side of genuine warmth, this is your place.

Dr Curtis was my Dr at Eye Optics in Elk Grove Ca. I truly miss her ability to be such a kind hearted person who took the time to remember previous conversations from last visits. She would ask questions about maybe a vacation you mentioned. On top of that an excellent optometrist. I for some reason thought she was in Roseville, but recently recommended her and found out she is in Folsom. I will be checking out her new place next year as I'm not very far from the new place and I have already taken care of my vision needs for 2026.

Dr. Curtis has been our eye doctor since 2019, when she practiced in Elk Grove, CA. She has treated my four children, my wife, and me. My family and I saw Dr. Christy Curtis for many years while we were living in Elk Grove. She was amazing! We moved from EG to Sacramento about 7 years ago and switched to new doctor closer to our new home. The 5 stars are for Dr. Christy Curtis. I have been seeing her for several years now... she is very knowledgeable and explains things when I have questions. Her exams are always very thorough and I never feel rushed.

As for the rest of the staff, they are friendly enough. The staff seems to change from year to year, so no one sticks out. They can be a little pushy when trying to get you to upgrade your lens but I'm okay with telling them NO until they get it.

My family and I all love EyeOptics. We have been going there for years. Making an appointment is easy, even with all our differing schedules. And they accommodate multiple appointments at once so we can go together if wanted. The staff are polite and friendly. Dr. Curtis is professional and explains everything clearly. She is wonderful, she provides outstanding service and helpful information . Before I leave the office, I am handed my prescription - no need to even ask. It is business card sized, and laminated, which is super helpful. I am happy with the selection of glasses, and there is great service if you want help selecting your frames. Nobody is pushy, though. I am happy with their service and plan to continue with them and recommend them to anyone.

When it came time to choose a new optometrist, I had no idea what I'd be getting myself in to. This is hands down the only place I will go for all of my eye care needs. I started off with only having glasses and was getting tired of them. I decided to change over to contacts. Let's just say, I have some very abnormal eyes. After 6+ months of extreme patience from Dr. Yurko, with almost weekly visits, we went through trials of every hard and soft contacts on the market. She was the absolute best and never gave up on me. Her final suggestion before I was willing to give up, was to try Duett contact lenses. Something she was not specialized in, but convinced me Dr. Curtis was the answer. And she was! Dr. Curtis got me fitted with a "hybrid" contact (hard inner, soft outer). I was skeptical at first but these are the best things since sliced bread. I also can't forget to mention Kristin and Lucina. Kristin has been just as patient and accommodating. She is extremely knowledgeable and explained my benefits in detail while keeping my best interest in mind and most of all, not confusing me. Lucina was an excellent trainer helping me with putting in and taking out all 3 different types of contacts. I get frustrated and give up easily, and Lucina kept my confidence up and kept me positive.

An all around great facility that I will go to for years to come. I tell people about them almost daily! I can promise, they will not disappoint you!

A co worker of mine recommended this place. I have had my eyes checked in a ton of different places but this place was, by far, the best experience I've had. Christy was super friendly and professional. This was the first time I decided to try contacts, and Rachel spent over an hour helping me put them in for the first time. I never thought I would look forward to an eye appointment! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
